UPDATE (4/22/2019):
Reluctantly gone for lunch today since this is the only place that open
on Easter in the area. They were doing a makeover in & out of the restaurant but we were seated immediately. The server, Julia, immediately came to our table and took drink order. Seems like they have hired new staffs (which is a big PLUS). They have added new menu (Korean fusion, new Japanses roll and appetizers). We ordered roasted pork fried rice (4/5)- very good flavor but the pork is a lit dry for my tase. Korean Kimchi fried rice with shrimp (5/5)- this new entree is awesome with a kick . Nice & spicy with a cut up kimchi vegetable. Beef with korean sauce in sizzling plate (5/5)- a bit too sweet for me but everyone else loved it.
Must be a new ownership, the owner actually came by to check on us which was the 1st at this place. Whatever the change may be, it's very positive. I'll definitely be back to try more new dishes. -

This is my favorite sushi ever! I live in the city, so whenever I am in this area it is my favorite place to go. I love 538 so much, however I would not use delivery. I have used delivery before and it went terribly wrong and the customer satisfaction aspect was not there when it came to delivery. But going there and sitting down to eat is AMAZING

Food tasted okay, but I think I may have gotten food poisoning :/
Which is kinda scary because I got something fish related.
You can see the humidity on the glass covering the sushi prep area.
My son had a veggie roll but now I'm worried about the sanitization of his roll coming into contact with the fish. I'm hoping he does not get sick too.
This place used to be a lot more yummy.
I hope they see this and crank up the Ac and make sure to sanitize better .
Because this place can do a lot better it has potential. -

This is our first time here.
Eggrolls are very crispy on the outside but not done on the inside.
Beef and broccoli and moo goo gui pan were both OK. This is a "comfortable" neighborhood Chinese restaurant. They are not going to knock your socks off with food or service; but if you need a Chinese fix you can come here and get it.
Portions are good, prices OK. Do not come here expecting to order one entrée and share it between two people, as you would at other Chinese restaurants.
Coming out of California, we have been very disappointed in most Texas Chinese restaurants. -
